Maver's Stabucks Planner Give-Away

If I were a Starbucks drink I would be tall, non fat, decaf , peppermint mocha.

Like the drink which is a combination of espresso, bittersweet chocolate, peppermint flavor, creamy hot milk and yummy whipped cream. I’m person who is fun, fearless, warm and sweet. A down to earth individual stuck in a mainstream world. I'm a person who is family oriented, complex, and extremely fussy. :)

This is my entry for Maver's Starbucks Planner Palooza give-way. I am hoping to win a Starbucks 2010 Cherry Planner.

Summer fun

Vacation time!!!!

It's nice to go swimming. Have you gone swimming na ba? Enjoy the sand, the water, the sun.... Hovewer, we should be armed with these;

My favorite thing to bring during swimming

1. Moisturizing lotion. Aveeno lotion is a nice product :)

2. sunscreen spf50 (from the faceshop). I used this to combat the damaging UV ray.

3. my daily moisturizing cream from the faceshop. I love this product.

4. Vaseline sunblock spf 30. Sobrang mahal kasi yung ibang brand so I opted to buy this. This sunblock is so useful.

This what I usually bring whenever we go swimming.

Now if were going on a real vacation, actually the longest was always 3 days and 2 nights because hubz and I go to work (cannot afford to be absent on Mondays). Upon planning, we check the budget of course. Then if financial side is okay, I proceed to the hotel/place reservation. If our car wont be possible, I'll check on what means of transpo we'll be using.

On the trip day, I usually bring a big bag. Clothes good for a week, hahahaha! Then I bring a small bag for my other things such as lotion, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste and the likes. So you could imagine that I bring our house with us lolz. Then I search the net on where to visit on that particular place that will be staying and of course, I wont forget my camera.

So I guess that's about it. Hope this will do. Red was a bit curious what necessary and uncessary things you bring on your trip or vacation and how do you plan your travel. This is my take for his Tambayan on Tuesday carnival! Red I enjoyed this. :)

Little Something

Oh It's work again tomorrow. I have to start researching about the proxy that we needed for our new system at the office. it means, I'll be a little bit busy over the week but I'll make time to stretch up a bit to relax, everyone needed that right? :)

1. During my wedding, my motiff was green as it was my favorite color but lately I noticed, I am fascinated with the color purple that made me buy 2 tops and dainty purple sandal.

9. I dont usually wear wake-up but I make sure my brows are regulary maintained through threading (ouch!!!!)

10. I love Hayden Christensen, he is cute!

6 Random Things that make me happy Tag

Tag by the crafty Sinta, actually there are many things that made me happy but the tag asked for six so here goes. My husband. He is so cool, so loving and so patient. I am so lucky to have him. I guess if I married somebody else, I might be separated by now, hahaha!!!

My family. I got a perfect family,though my brother sometime thinks of out of this world idea, my sister is sometime hassling, mom is such a nagger and my father is therefore strict, I must say, they make me happy. If they aren't like that I think my life would be so dull. ;)

Work. however I have a love hate relationship with work, I discovered how to love it.

Friends. Hmmm....my friends are all crazy so what would you expect. hahahaha

A good breakfast . As I have always telling, I love sandwhich and coffee. These two are my favorite breakfast.

Sufficient sleep. Lately I've assimilate that having enough sleep is the ultimate way of having a good aura for the rest of the day.

Do you have a favorite song you shared with friends in school?

Well I do have. This one song I really love from the 90's. It's so hip. Whenever I hear this song, it reminds me of my college days, my college friends (mostly living outside the country). We love singing this before. A college friend who was a lead vocalist sang this in a party we had in the university. Gee I am missing them! :(

3 Startin' A New Life Too : Well...I just yearned to visit an elderly house and sponsor a Christmas party for the them. You see, it always breaks my heart when I see elder people who are homeless, who are sick or those that are less fortunate. I know, the simple Christmas party will somehow make them happy and think that they are loved.

Then I wish for a baby for my husband to be more happy....hehehe :)

Weekend Rambling

Hahaha...I did a lot of tags today. Those were overdue tags that I promised to do. I have few more left. I'll be doing them these coming days. So watch out for it :)

Now, let me update you a bit about my colorful life (as if). Aside from the glorious long weekend that many of us will enjoy, I am excited to bake more yummy goodies. Hubz bought an oven. He knew I've longing to have this. Though we have a microwave with bake function, I much prefer a bigger oven. This means, more more cupcakes and cheesecakes recipe to post. :)

While half my heart rejoices...half of it was not. My BFF at work bid her goodbye yesterday. I've cried bucket when I heard the news the other week. But I need to be mature to face this situation. Thinking of the great opportunity awaits her made me realize that I am not losing her. She will always be there. So last night, the team had a little drinking session party, hahaha. Just have a few shots of tequila, singing once in a while and some good laughs made us all happy. The husband and I left much earlier because he was sleepy na and on our way home, I sent a text message to her saying

It's not goodbye yet, it's see you later...

As I pressed the send button, tears just rolled over. My heart cried in sadness, in silence. After working with her for 5 years, I will surely miss her. So while she is her at Pinas, visiting her will lessen the missing her part

Okay...enough of my doldrums...Lets all enjoy the weekend :) See yah later!

I am not really into make up, I work at an engineering company and I am know as one of the boys. When I do some make up application my co-workes would tease...lolz Anyway here are my "essentials" The milk sunblock, the dewy flower moisturiser and the phytogenic face powder, all from the faceshop. I just love everything from the faceshop. Very gentle just enough for sensitive skin.

I also used their non sticky lipgloss, again from The Face Shop. :) Well that's about it. I just make my self simple everyday. The last time I had my total make-up was 5 years ago...That was my wedding hehehe! I am passing this to Dyanie, Toni & Rachel. I wanted to know what this pretty young ladies uses. So enjoy! :)

Books and More

I love reading.

Anything... newspaper specially the classified ads hahaha. magazines too, fashion and home magazines are what I usually buy. and most of all, I love reading books. This is what I collect. Books, books, books.

My relationship with books started when I was in high school, my aunts love mills & boon. I remember reading them and got hooked. From there, I started reading more and more.

Here are some of the books I have:

Did I told you guys I joined the Jane Austen book club that I mentioned here, I'll be starting Persuasion as the read of the month. I'm too excited to start. :)

Anyway....the books, I covered them with plastic and use a bookmark for protection. I hate it to find any folds or flaws, so when someone borrows it I always remind them the golden rule....to take good care of them but somebody did forgot my words... Learn from experience I guess. Learned that not all can borrow unless otherwise trusted. :)

Hmmm....how do you feel about this if somebody did the same thing? What will you do with the person? Would you trust that person again? Just wanted to know?
