I am on leave today...

Before I start my relaxing day, I had tuna sandwhich for breakfast. Yummm! Then I will continue doing my project, few more stiches and it's finish. Then later this afternoon I will do some christmas shopping.Yebah.

For my Nephew

Hey kid how are you?

A couple of months ago your granny told us, your kinda sick! So your mommy and daddy send you to the hospital for some check-up. Your tito and I was a bit worried.

Now, after a couple of weeks or days...the result was revealed. It was a not so good news for the family.

Hey kid, you made your mom & granny cried and I, I got too emotional about it! Tito is still worried and your daddy never stops praying.

Tomorrow, you'll be admitted to the hospital, in two days, they'll get that thing in your head!

I wont stop praying, the family wont!

You take care kid and see you at the hospital this friday!

Manic Monday

So weekend is over its a Monday midnight and in a few hours I'll be off to work. Argh!!!!

I really hate Mondays or should I say, I hate going to work hahaha, my bad!

Work is becoming boring. Now that two of my friends already resigned, it made it more & more boring. What is worse, I am left alone in the designing team, I have to work double time for the meantime since they have not hired a replacement yet (do they have plans???). I wish I could just stay home and do other things such as bake goodies or do other side jobs. Oh well I have to be positive! I should be.

I am always thinking of these reasons whenever skipping work is becoming an option during Monday morning.....

1. I cannot afford to skip work on Mondays because it will make me more indolent for the rest of the week...hahahaha

2. the 15th and 30th is payday! nuninuninu!

3. days are fast coming, I'll never notice it's Friday already. yebah!

4. After work, hubz and I meet at this coffe shop near our office and we head home together. :)

5. Since we do not eat breakfast together during work days, Saturday & Sunday Breakfast are special to us!

6. Saturdays & Sundays are bonding moments for us!

These are enough reasons for me to get up from bed and hit the shower!

Despte of hating my work, I am learning to like it though hahaha!

Under my Umbrella

Manila did not experience a good sunny day because of the typhoon Karen, So I wanted to take the day off which I usually do when there's heavy downfall but knowing that my ten year old niece went to school this morning made me drown in shame...hahaha

So even though the rain was hard, I armed myself with a trusty umbrella & jacket and off I go to work. As I was convincing myself that It would be a smoother way to the office, I was wrong...it was also hard to hail a cab or any form of public transpo (note: I do not know how to drive) I brave myself in that horrid rain. It took me 30-45 minutes to get finally a public transpo. After the traffic due to flooded streets and people stranded all over the place, I arrived work after an hour and a half (note:the usual time of travel-30 minutes) Hurray!!!

With all the rain, flood, and many people blocking my way to get a cab, I thought that my tummy was complaining due to starvation, hahaha. Good thing I brought the apple crumble, delivered yesterday from Dominos Pizza.



It's my sweet reward for myself.

Uoh-ohhh

On our way to the supermarket, hubby decided to gas-up and this gas prices caught my attention. OMG...indeed it's soaring high.

So what now....what more. I don't want to be negative about things happening here. So Hope for the Flowers!
