5 more and I'll be getting the 2007 starbucks planner. yehey. I've been visiting starbucks almost every morning ordering my favorite tall caffe mocha. Yeah I know....calories calories....kaya syempre I asked for no whipped cream and non-fat milk. O yan less calories. :D Among the feautured Christmas variety...I love the peppermint mocha kesa sa toffee nut latte which I is too sweet for me. I havent tried gingerbread latte, I can give it a try one of this days, after all 4 stickers pa ang kulang ko for the christmas variety. Excited na ko

Life is a box of

Gosh...natatakam ako sa kanila but at this moment Im staying away from this sweets. Eto naman ako. diet ever. Pero this time, Im trying to lessen my carbo intake. Effective as in. Im on my 2nd week na and loses 3lbs already. Imagine :D But again Im missing those chocolates, yummy burgers, pizza ang pasta...yummm yum...

Round in circle

we bought this at a fruitstand sa nova Skipped work today… Because I woke up late. Imagine I wake up at 7:55am.I actually wake up at 5:45am and leave home at about 6:20am. So obviously very late na ko for work. Ayoko naman mag half day kasi yesterday half day na ko, he he he. Anyway…since balak ko naman mag leave from work sa Friday dahil I need to apply for registration information update sa BIR. Requirement kasi ito sa office namin na i-transfer ang registration address namin which in my case is RDO 28 (Novaliches) to RDO 47 Makati naman ito. Dapat di ba sila na nag aayos nito kaso sa office namin, we do it personally. Kaya ayun, decided na asikasuhin na lang ito para hindi naman sayang pag absent ko. I asked my sister to accompany me, because Im not totally familiar with the place (Novaliches). But before we left, she called her office kasi dun sila sa nova district office nag-uupdate. Yun nga lang, wala yung person na alam yung exact place, basta her officemate said, near daw ito sa ganito and ganyan. Buti na lang sister knows a little sa place. Well im very thankful that after what sister’s been through she’s now ok and happy. By the way she’ll be celebrating her birthday 2 weeks from now. Happy birthday bunso and love you Back to my story, we left the house at 11:30am. We took a jeepney and reached the nova mall at around 12:15pm. Im very thankful talaga ke sister dahil sinamahan nya ko. Then a 5-minutes walk brought us to another jeepney stop and took another ride. Sister asked the driver to drop us at this certain builing. It was really traffick. It took us another 45 minutes and we reached the place. Sister and I was so happy because we found the BIR office, yipeee. Kaso…the office transfered to a new building na….kaloka di ba…. They transfered last Oct. 1 pa daw. Told myself kasalanan ng BIR ito…I tried calling them to know their address. Kaso no one answered. I even send email asking for their location atleast nalaman ko na lumipat na pala sila…kaso it’s been weeks na no reply pa rin…hay…. We did get their new address and hailed a taxi…Sa mindanao avenue sila lumipat. Mas lalong kaloka kasi yung novaliches na old place nila is malapit lang sa mindanao avenue….eh yung mindanao avenue eh 2- short jeepney ride from our place. Di ba…So ang nangyari, umikot pa kami ng napakalayo, instead na yung shorter travel ang ginawa namin eh napalayo pa kami…hay…pero sige ok lang, hindi rin naman ako nainip kasi I was with my sister and chikahan galore pa kami. Ayun…after submitting my BIR form, we went home. Mga 30 minutes nasa bahay na kami

Craving Again

Tried ko lang gumawa ng meatballs and spag and hubby love it A half kilo of ground beef plus chopped ham, add a dashed of salt and pepper. sprinkled with a little flour. Mix mix well. Add 1 beaten egg. Now this is the fun part. With the use of your hands, grab a small part of the mixture and form into balls. It’s up to you what size of the meatball you want. Deep fry in low heat. Low heat para nde masunog at maluto cyempre yung loob ng meat balls Now for the sauce. Madali lang…the basic. Saute garlic and onions. A pack on del monte italian sauce then add a bottle of UFC banana ketsup. Throw the sliced mushroom. Add the meatballs and simmer. Put a little salt and pepper. Then add the pasta mix well. Served topped with cubed cheese. I love my cheese bigger para mas feel ng tastebud ko. hehehe. O di ba madali lang

Milenyo

That’s what happens when MRT service is suspended. Chaos at Ayala Avenue. I was a little naiinip while waiting for the bus on my way home last Friday. So I used my phone cam to take the pic. Grabe…daming tao bigla sa Ayala. Hay…ang hirap sumakay… Signal no. 3 hits manila last Thursday. Because of this strong typhoon the MRT service was suspended. I didn’t come to work last Thursday. So last Friday upon my way to work, I was shocked to know that there was no MRT service and was so shocked to see what happened to Edsa. Many billboards have fallen. Many trees were uprooted. I have also learned from the news that many were injured and some were killed. So sad very sad.

Emotions

Went blog hoppin’ and read cyn lastest post. Well, it’s her last day na sa work. I remember my last day too. Then I became emotional. Kasi na-miss ko yung mga old friends ko sa ESCA. Lalo pa kong naging emotional when I read myold entry. It’s true that I gain new friends here in my new work but still those people I spend for 5 years (sa ESCA)are the one who really show me what true friendship is all about. So mare sana matuloy na ang aking coffee date this month. Anyway, in my last entry I mentioned na I earned a 99 hours of OT. First time in my working life ha. So I treated myself para naman ma feel ko yung hard work na ginawa ko. I went shopping. Below are few of the things I bought sa mall Sapatos at kolorete Cute noh. Silip lang po

busy…busy..busy….hay Ilang weeks na rin na I haven’t updated my blog. Please forgive me. Im so busy with work talaga. For this month, I earned 99 hours of overtime…grabeh….tao pa ba ko…hehehe. It was so damn tiring but I gained the trust of my Japanese bosses. This morning my GM jap called me and he asked if Im interested in doing Xsteel works. Wow…another skill I’ll be developing here. Im so excited with this new assignment. Anyway, in my 5 months of stay at this firm, I can say that I’ve learned a lot already and wanting to learn more. Im very thankful that I have chosen the right decision to accept this work. hmmm….nagiging career oriented na ata ako, hehe. Actually, nag e-enjoy lang ako sa work. Iba kasi ito compared sa old work ko. In here, I can freely share my thoughts and idea. We don’t just draw here, we study a lot of info sheets or loading data. Mahirap oo, lalo na kung hindi mo ginagawa before. As I’ve told noon, my previous work was my comfort zone and this new job is my battlefield. (Exag noh) But now, I realize na hindi pala battlefield…but a place where I can find comfort. Comfort kasi I’m enjoying what Im doing…IM happy here and I do love the people around me…kahit na me mga issues about this and that…but who cares…basta ko masaya ako period. Maalala ko lang..I’m missing my home cooking..kelan kaya ulit ako makakapag prepare ng real good dish So how was your day?

Let me guess, you guys are drooling na noh. hehehe. Sarap talaga ng mangga at bagoong. Only in the Philippines lang ang merong masarap na manggang hilaw at bagoong. I cant just get enough. Im on my 2nd na and wanting to have the 3rd piece. Come have a slice..yummm

Veggie Naman

Stir-fry kangkong with garlic. A yummy and a healthy dish I learned from the net. Nagsawa na ko sa adobong kangkong so I tried this recipe this evening. I simplified it a bit for a much easier preparation What I did here… 1. Wash, trim and dry kangkong. 2. In a wok or skillet, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat. 3. Add chopped garlic and set aside. Then slide the chopped onion in the same pan. 4. Stir-fry for a minute or so until the onion begins to turn translucent. 5. Add the kangkong, water and soy sauce. 6. Continue to stir-fry just until the kangkong wilts, about another minute. 7. Place the kangkong in a plate and garnish with the chopped garlic pramis masarap
