Pork Teriyaki

I got this simple recipe in a local magazine (yummy mag) last Saturday. I tried it this morning and it taste fab.

Here's the simple instruction.

Fry the thinly sliced pork and drain excess oil. Set aside.

Prepare the Teriyaki sauce. In a pot, mix 1/4 cup water, 1/4 cup mirin, 1/3 cup sugar. Let it boil. Add 1/3 cup dark soy sauce. Then add grated ginger. Simmer for a minute. Thicken sauce with 1-1/2 tbsp cornstarch dissoleve in 1 tbsp water. Pour on top of fried pork.
