Im IT this time...

I've been tagged twice by these gorgeous ladies simplymuah and Maldita

So here goes...

1. WHAT ARE THE THINGS YOU ENJOY DOING EVEN WHEN THERE'S NO ONE AROUND YOU?

Reading a good book. It's the only time I can make a serious reading, no one will make kulit.

Sometimes, I just go and sit out at the park and read or watch people.

Do sketches, most of the time my creativity comes out when Im alone.

Took pictures of anything that I see as a good subject.

2. WHAT LOWERS YOUR STRESS/ BLOOD PRESSURE/ ANXIETY LEVEL?

Well, if say I'm stress-out, I talk to close friends to vent out. Sometimes, if Im really depress, talking to friends while crying is helpful in taking the negative feelings away.

Another thing that I do, I write down all my worries, depression or whatever bad things I feel in a sheet of paper, I crumple it or tear it then throw it in a trash. It works well for Me.

If the feeling is very extreme, I shout, a one good shout. Through this, I release the tension that I have. But this thing is not advisable, the neighbors may get annoy,he he he

Talking to hubby. He indeed knows how to make me feel comfy and relieve from all my worries.

3. TAG 5 FRIENDS AND ASK THEM TO POST IT IN THEIRS.

Im tagging...

Toni- Solace personified as mentioned in her friendster testi (I agree to that too)and a dear friend to me.
Kitts, Star- Both ladies creates magic in every photos that they take
Butik's, Len- My new found friends and I do want to know their answers. :D

Reflection

Im absent today at work. Not that Im sick, not that I have to attend on something. It's just that Im thinking something about work. Something that will surely need better judgment.

Tomorrow, I'll bring this sheet of paper with me, telling my wants of leaving the company. I won't be in any office yet. I'll take my time here at home. I'll relax a bit for the meantime. This is what I've been wanting after the 9 straight long years of working from 2 companies.

But again, I know, this wont be easy. During my long stay at my present employer, I have gain friends. A close bonding to those people I have been with for 5 years. Hope they will understand why I have to leave them.

Hoping that tomorrow, I won't cry...

Thank goodness for digicams. In times where myself is a bit bored, I find it relaxing to take pictures of anything. At this moment I have a kodak 3.1 megapixel but I do wanted to have an IXUS or an Exilim. Oh well, that is If I find a way to convince hubby. He aims to have a digital videocam before 2005 ends. On the second thought, taking video is also exciting. I have this software for editting video. I tried editting some family video and it was addicting. Hmmm...I guess have to convince hubby to buy both, he he he.

Spice them up

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

this recipe is a different version of the tokwa't baboy which is yummy for pulutan... but we prefer this with rice. Both hubby and I love spicy food. So this dish really rocks our dining table

It's very easy to prepare. All you have to do...

about 4 pcs bean curd fried and cut it into cubes
half kilo pork (I used liempo)deep fried and cut into cubes
chopped several onions, the more the merrier
then pure calamsi juice (i squeeze 10 calamsi for this recipe but of course you can use more
about half a cup of soy sauce (again add more if you want)
chopped siling labuyo (I used 10 pcs for this)

Just mix, mix, mix all of them. Let them dance and be happy. If everything has been mix, taste, taste, taste. Grab some beer or rice and enjoy.

Watta weekend

DJ and I watched the fantastic four over the weekend at Gateway. We chose the 10:30pm time schedule. The ticket lady told us that the 10:30 sched was a free seating, we expected that we can choose seats for best viewing. Oh well, I still bought 2 tickets. It was still early so we went at fully book muna to check out any good books. At 10:00pm, we went back at the cinema area and we were surprise to see the long line where the Fantastic four is showing. So we hurriedly fall in line too, good thing they already allowed people to get in though it was 30 minutes early. So we didn't wait that long. We manage to find 2 good seats. Well, the movie was fun though I was expecting more heroic stuff. But I enjoyed it.

After the movie, hubby got hungry, so we went at Jollibee Philcoa. After parking the car, there were these kids who run towards me and sell those sampaguita, then a kid was asking naman money. I'd rather give food than money, I thought I'll give something later na lang after eating. I walked and they keep on following me and holding my shirt that left a dirty stain so hubby told the kids to stop. Then this 4-5 year old kid who asked money early shouted and said "ayaw mo...P*****I**A mo, then step on my left foot and run away. I was really shocked. I wanted to run after him to get even but of course I didn't. So upon entering the fast food, I told the guard to get rid of that kid and hang him upside down, he he he. After our midnight snack, we went back at the parking area and there were no kids anymore. Perhaps, they went selling at the other side of the parking area. And I was right, they were there. I felt bad. Where are the freaking parents of these kids. All of them age from 3-7 years old. By this time this youngster should be soundly sleeping but they are still here at the streets doing anything to have money. I have to admit, though I was kinda annoyed for what that kid did, I pity him, I pity them. We'll I don't want to ruin our date, so I forget all about it. But surely I'll be back in that parking area...nope I won't still give money, but I'll bring a cracker or a bread to give them so that darn kid won't step on my newly polished shoes again, he he he :D

Don't Know

I wonder... what will the country's future in all the things that are happening right now. I wonder how many more protest will occur in order to have the so-called democracy. Did we ever had it in the first place?
I wonder...who among them are telling the truth. Is it they or they? Are these people for justice and peace or they are just bound by their money, power and deceitful reasons.
At this time, Im in the middle of confusion. I don't know who to believe and who to support. The only thing I know is, motherland is suffering and in pain. For we of common race, of common roots don't unite.
Now, Im hoping. Hoping that hope will come soon.

Want some?

We had this for dinner two nights ago. The hotness of the soup and the tenderness of the meat plus the dinorado steaming rice made our dinner perfect. As if we were eating in a restaurant at Tagaytay where most of the yummy bulalo soup are available (next to Batangas of course).
According to my mom, the secret of a flavorful broth is in the longest time of boiling the beef shank. Before, it took them 2 hours or more to achieve the perfect flavor and I cant wait that long. So I used...tadah

A pressure cooker. It's very useful. I can make my beef shank tender in no time. Still flavorful like the old fashion way of cooking bulalo.

So what I did here...I boiled the beef shank together with onion, garlic, peppercorn, a dash of salt and fish sauce to taste for 35-45 minutes. Start counting the minutes when the pressure cooker start making that noisy sound and when that thing up there that I don't know what it is called start dancing. Be sure that the water is enough so that it wont dries up easily. That happened to me before. I put less water in one of my cooking stint. It ended up that the water was gone quickly and burn my meat. Anyway, so after the 35-45 minutes, unlock and remove the cover of the pressure cooker but be sure you do it properly. I got an officemate who got burn because she just removes the cover without releasing the pressure inside. A tip in removing the pressure is by slowly removing that thing up there that dances to release the pressure or you can bring the cooker on the sink and let the water from the faucet cools it down. So when you've done that, it is safe to unlock the cover. Remove the scum that arise in the soup then simmer it in a low fire, add the potatoes and the corn, simmer for 5-7 minutes. Then lastly put the cabbage until it is cook. Serve hot with fish sauce, calamnsi and crushed siling labuyo. Yummeee or should I say heavenly....
