That's it Pancit!

pancit1

This is how I cook my pancit. :)

You'll need;
1/2 kilo pancit bihon
pork slices, fried
chicken liver
chicken breast, boiled and shredded
Broth
Veggies such as;
baguio bean, carrots, chopped cabbage, soaked tengang daga
garlic, onions, soy sauce,
worcestershire sauce or oyster sauce or bell pepper * :)

Here's what I do
Soak the pancit bihon noodles to soften for 10 minutes.

Grease a large pan or wok with oil. Sauté onions and garlic. Add the sliced veggies (in this order carrots, baguio beans, cabbage and tengang daga). If you want a spicy taste add bell pepper. Stir fry then set aside.

In a separate wok, saute onions, add pork, shredded chicken breast, chicken liver. Add the broth. Drizzle some soysauce depending to your taste. Add 2 tbsp of worcestershire sauce or oyster sauce. Simmer.....simmer. (I dont use shrimp, Im allergic to it by the way)

Now...
Mix in the pancit bihon noodles cook for about 5 minutes or until the noodles are soft.

Add salt and more pepper to taste.

Top with the stir-fry veggies

Serve hot with sliced calamansi on the side.

* I suggest that if you'll use bell pepper omit the worcestershire sauce or the osyter sauce. So you can really taste the goodness of it's spicy flavor. And that goes too if you'll use worcestershire or osyter sauce :)

More Smores!

Did you know that the first ever smore recipe can be found in the (US) Girl Scouts handbook of 1927. The traditional smore is made with marshmallows, graham crackers and a few pieces of chocolate. Now many had made varieties for this snack recipe. S'more by the way is a contraction of the phrase, "some more" :)

I taught my niece how to make s'more last night. :)

To make this you'll need:

graham crackers
Chocolate Bar
large marshmallows

Break graham crackers in half. Break chocolate bar in half; center one section on each of 2 graham cracker halves. Top each with marshmallow. Place on paper towel. Microwave in 10 second intervals until marshmallow puffs. Top each with another graham cracker half; press gently. Let stand 1 minute to soften chocolate. Serve immediately. :)

Pasta cooking made much easy

Angelhair Pasta with Tuna in Red Sauce

An easy and quick Pasta recipe. Glad there's this del monte tomato and cheese spag sauce. I love it's blend. It has the sour taste of tomato and the perfect flavor of cheese. :)

Okay enough said, del monte's not paying me here harhar!

So here’s what I did;

1.Cook pasta (500 grams) according to pack directions. Drain and set aside. I used angelhair pasta. It cooks in 3-4 minutes only.
2. In a pan saute onion then garlic, add the 2 cans of tuna (I used tuna in oil)drained and set aside.
3. Add a can of drained sliced mushroom (or olives)
4. Mix mix mix then set aside
5. In a saucepan, melt butter; add flour and cook on medium-low heat for 2 minutes, stirring constantly
6. Add the spaghetti sauce (I used delmonte tomato and cheese) and simmer
7. Then slide in the sauted tuna and mushroom.
8. Add chili pepper for some spice (optional)
9. Topped your cooked pasta with the red sapg sauce and sprinkle some grated cheese.
10.Done!

Easy Peasy right? :)

For Parents

Let me share this awesome site I found for first time parents. I’m not a mom yet but I am so certain this site would be truly helpful when we will have our own baby. Anyway, the site I’ve been telling is parentricity.com.

Parentricity is a social network that was created that aims to help first parents find informative stuffs such as product reviews, advice, experiences from other parents too. It’s an exchange of information from one parent to another. So you could be sure that each product reviews are real and safe as it comes from real parents who actually used the products to their own kids.

I visited the site a while ago and I assimilated a lot from their advice section. Actually I got hooked reading everything. People there are so kind in giving advices. Another thing that interests me, they have a section for books reviews. It would be very helpful to parents who are looking for books for their kids or for themselves Instead of going to the bookstore, read their review first to be inform on what book to get that would be time saving.

Parentricity.com is like you're well experienced parent that will help you in finding good products for your kids. So if you are a first time parent or just looking for somthing for your kids, do visit their site to know what I mean.
