I made this cupake today for hubz..he was not really feeling well. So to cheer him up, I bake these cuppies...
I made research over the net to find a good recipe, since I've tried choclate, banana, strawberry and coffee cupcake, I picked this recipe to make a difference. I made slight substitution on some ingridients though. It still turned out good :)
I'm a bit busy but I promise to post the recipe really really soon!
I'm sure everything will be okay in a slow but sure manner. As I've said, the team is so lucky to have such great Cali bosses :)

Aside from hubz being here, which is what I always love..staying home and spending time with him, either sleeping or eating banana que (our favorite), there's one more reason that made me hate to go to work today.

well..lets put it this way...sometimes (or most of the time), employees don't really get what they want from the company. I mean the benefits, the salary increase...let's say not contented. I felt that I was getting too much rant from others that made me feel so tired feverishly and somehow affects my working habit. Therefore, I decided to take a day off from all it. anticipating tomorrow, positivity will cooperate with me.
I thought....
I am fortunate because I am contented on what I have. My salary is not that big but I am happy. I have the good friends at the office which made me lucky. I have good US bosses. Though I must admit, my Filipino bosses sometimes sucks. Nevertheless, that is a small percentage for me to complain about things.
so what now...
I'm not against of what the others did, they can do what ever action they want to let the company know what their complains are, just hoping that sooner, things will be settled between you guys. "sigh"

For this month, bought some stuffs for summer '08.
When I saw this top at Plain and Prints(the orange brown combination), I fell inlove with the color and the soft fabric. So I bought it and since I can't get enough, I bought the other color too, the blue and dark blue combi. :)
I boght the top from Kamiseta. I like this too. So girly and the color is so summery (para akong sapin sapin).
When going at the supermarket, this is what I wear usually. So comfortable. During this hot season the short and tank tops beat the heat .
and since it's summer, It won't be complete if I won't go swimming, either at the pool or at the beach, the swimsuit I got from freeway is my buddy. Since I can't wear two-piece (the tummy protrudes) this is what I bought. hahaha. Again I love anything of many colors.
So these yummies, makes me feel comfortable. (hmmmm...I don't have new flops, pala...I have to buy, i have to buy, hehehe)
and ofcourse drinking atleast 8 glasses of water helps a lot too. :)

Simpleness make things grand. Yes, we are at the 21st century and our lives are much associated with computers, gadgets and the world wide web. We could easily do research using the internet. Just type anything and presto a quick answer. The emails...we could easily get in touch with our friends and relatives with it.
Somehow, there are still people who much like receiving snail mails. Reading those nice envelopes with neat handwrittings. I am one.
