A new Computer for '09
The husband is thinking of getting a new desktop for our small computer business. Some of his friends suggested getting a laptop instead. But husband much preferred a desktop since it will cost less and it comes with empty bays which can be efficiently used to upgrade RAM or install a faster chipset. In addition desktop upgrade cost less than laptop. Aside from these, husband wanted to get a sleek and slim monitor that will not consume space and energy saving. That would be the perfect computer package that my husband wanted.
Therefore, the husband had been checking online for reviews that will help him out on what desktop and monitor to get. I know with the stiff competition with the business were in, getting a brand new desktop unit will attract more customers to avail the service we offer. :)
This coming 2009, my husband and I are praying for more success in our business and prosporous New Year!

For my Father
Dream Vacation
Christmas is coming. It is one of the most awaited celebrations of the year. After the tiring festivity, I am looking forward for a grand vacation since I will be back to work at January 5 next year. Actually it’s our yearly tradition that the husband and I go out for days just to relax. Would it be great to be somewhere you really like. If we have extra money I really would like to spend my few days vacation on a cruise. So romantic isn’t?
Out of curiosity I googled over the internet to look for great deal cruise and I found Vacation To Go. They offers great discount cruise and they are based in Houston. Timely my friend who is about to marry next year plans to have an Australian/New Zealand cruise and Vacations To Go has a perfect package. Their ships offer year-round cruises departing from Sydney, Brisbane, and Auckland. Whether you're cruising around the coasts and warm waters of Australia and New Zealand, or scheming into the fabulous South Pacific, the travel ahead of you is highlighted with above par service, ample onboard activities, and wonderful dining options. My friend would be really like it what Vacations To Go offers. I know she will grab this one.
If your looking for a splendid vacation, think about giving cruising and Vacations To Go a visit. You won’t be disappointed in what you find over there.

Sugar Cookies
I whipped another Christmas Cookies.
If you want to make your own, you just have to;
3/4 cup crisco shortening (or butter), softened
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2 1/2 cup all purpose flour 1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
What to do;
Cream butter, sugar until smooth. Add egg, one at a time then the vanilla.
In a separate bowl, sift flour, baking powder and salt. Add the dry mixture over the butter sugar mixture. Mix well. cover and chill dough for an hour or overnight. When your ready to bake, heat overn for 375 degrees F, On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough out to 1/4 inch in thickness (mine was a bit thicker though). Cut in shapes with cookie cutters. Add more flour to the surface as the dough is sticky. Place cookies 1 1/2 inches apart onto cookie sheets. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes (so as not to break the cookies) before removing to a wire rack to cool completely. Instead of making sugar icing to decorate, I just used wilton food writer. No sweat ei!?9.12.08

Sweet and sour pork
-
Sorry if I made you hungry hehehe!!!!!
You'll need:
half kilo slice Pork loinslightly beaten egg (I used 2)FlourGround pepperSaltoil for fryingFor the sauce:Pineapple tidbits, reserved the syrupTomato saucebrown sugarcarrotsonions quarteredbell pepperwater (about a cup)cornstarch dissolve in waterHow to: Sprinkle the flour with a little salt and pepper and mix well. Dredge the pork pieces in seasoned flour, then dip it in egg and fry, making both side brown. Remove from the pan and place on a plate with tissue to absorb excess oil. Now to make the sauce: Stir fry the onions, add the pineapple syrup. Stir in the brown sugar (if you find the syrup sweet, the sugar is optional). Then add the tomato sauce and water. I don't usually measure so to make it safe, put things in small amout then from there, add more depending on you taste. Simmer for a minute. Add the carrots and the pineapple tidbits (you can add bamboo shoots and green onions if you want). Let it simmer again. If it's bubbling add the cornstarch mixture to thicken the sauce. Then throw the pork pieces. Mix and serve. :) Easy peasy. It just like throwing everything there. lolz Hubby as usual loved it. He though it was chicken...hahaha!
